On this day in 2015, an international ban was drafted against internet memes involving pirates, ninjas, monkeys, robots, zombies, or raptor Jesus, in the hopes of spurring creativity amongst stagnating community websites such as www.iahwm.com ("I'm a Hippie with Money"--based on an Andy Griffith quote from the movie "Pray for the Wildcats"), www.lipbalmsworld.com, www.lolchinchillas.com, and www.gnarfgnarf.com.

New memes suggested by the ban draft included sumos, inventive facial hair styles, Liberace, beatniks, short-order cooks, and doctoring photographs of popular celebrities to make one of them look like a ventriloquist doll.
